Our Story
Hi, I’m Aisha Byrd, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of R&B Dog Bakery. I started this journey in 2018 out of love for my two incredible dogs, Reese and Benjamin. When I couldn’t find treats that aligned with my dogs nutritional diet —treats that were both healthy and made with real, limited ingredients—I decided to make my own. What began as baking in my kitchen quickly grew into a passion and a purpose.
R&B Dog Bakery is built on the belief that our dogs deserve the very best—from the ingredients we use to the way we celebrate their lives. Every treat, pupcake, and custom cake is handcrafted with love, using human-grade ingredients and no artificial additives. Beyond the bakery, I’m proud that we give back through programs like Paws 4 A Cause Pet Food Pantry supporting families in need.
This bakery is my way of honoring Reese and Benjamin—and helping pets everywhere enjoy healthy, joyful moments with the people who love them most.
The mission for R&B Dog Bakery is simple: to craft all-natural pet treats that promote wellness, celebrate special moments, and give back to the community—because pets deserve the very best. We create a Social Impact by creating all-natural, limited-ingredient pet treats while combatting obesity. We directly address the health issues caused by mass-produced, artificial pet products. We aim to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for both dogs and their owners, and to offer a variety of treats that cater to different dietary requirements and tastes. In addition to providing high-quality treats, the bakery actively donates 2% of Profits to Paws 4 A Cause Pet Food Pantry. Ultimately, the mission of R&B Dog Bakery would be to promote the happiness, health, and enjoyment of dogs while providing a service that enhances the bond between dogs and their owners.
